Each series under Realms Beyond is built with long-form storytelling in mind: layered worldbuilding, slow-burn revelations, and characters forced to confront who they are when the world breaks around them.

J. Henry McMullen is an independent fantasy author focused on long-form epic storytelling. His work blends classic epic fantasy traditions with a modern emphasis on character psychology, moral ambiguity, and consequence-driven narratives.
When not writing, he can usually be found refining maps, outlining future arcs, or deep in the weeds of worldbuilding details that may—or may not—ever appear on the page.
